The Federal Service Language Academy (FSLA) is a three-week residential program for students who are interested in an immersive intensive language experience, fitness, and exploring international-related careers with the federal government.  During the two three-week sessions, students will be immersed in intensive language instruction in First-Year Arabic, Chinese, Russian, German, Korean, Portuguese, Japanese, and Cherokee or Second-Year Arabic, Chinese, Russian, German, Korean, and Portuguese from highly qualified teachers, participate in a daily fitness program, receive career counseling from federal agency representatives (possible agencies include the CIA, DEA, FBI, State Department, Homeland Security, the Peace Corps and US Armed Forces), and possibly receive high school credit for successful completion of the academy upon school district approval.

FSLA Germany 2016: July 01-23     
Priority Deadline: April 1; Secondary Deadline: May 1

FSLA Germany 2016 is a three-week language immersion experience in Berlin. This program will feature intensive language instruction, cultural excursions, and home stay arrangements with German families.  This is a Dual Enrollment program with both high school (German III, IV, or V) and university German credit (German 1002). Accepted students must be admitted to UNG.

FSLA France 2016: July 01-24     
Priority Deadline: April 1; Secondary Deadline: May 1

FSLA France 2016 is a three-week language immersion experience in Angers. This program will feature intensive language instruction, cultural excursions, and home stay arrangements with French families.  This is a Dual Enrollment program with both high school (French III, IV, or V) and university French credit (French 1002). Accepted students must be admitted to UNG.
