Assistance League of Charlotte Scholarship information

Assistance League of Charlotte Scholarship information
Assistance League® of Charlotte is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families through community-based philanthropic programs. Assistance League of Charlotte Scholarship Fund, one of five programs serving area children, has awarded over $425,000 in college scholarships since the program's inception in 2002.
The Assistance League® of Charlotte Scholarship will be awarded to a 2019 Mecklenburg County high school graduate who exhibits outstanding community service.  The scholarship, not to exceed $12,000, will provide funding toward tuition, room and board, required fees and books for the freshman year at one of the 16 campuses of The University of North Carolina. At the discretion of the organization, additional scholarships are awarded to students with financial need who have exhibited a commitment to community service.
The 2018-2019 application is attached to this email and is also available online at www.charlotte.assistanceleague.org
ONLY COMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Each year we receive applications that must be eliminated because they are incomplete in some way.  Please use the checklist on the application form to confirm with students that the application packet is complete.
All application paperwork (hard copy) should be returned to Mrs. Holmes by Wednesday, February 13, 2019.
