Scholarship - The Assistance League of Charlotte

Two different scholarships for seniors graduating from a Mecklenburg County high school- see below descriptions:

The Assistance League® of Charlotte Scholarship will be awarded to a 2020 Mecklenburg County high school graduate who exhibits outstanding community service and shall adhere to a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, age, national origin (ancestry), disabilities, marital status, sexual orientation or military status.  The scholarship, not to exceed $12,000, will provide funding toward tuition, room and board, required fees and books for the freshman year at one of the 16 campuses of The University of North Carolina. Assistance League of Charlotte members and their relatives are not eligible.

The Assistance League® of Charlotte CPCC Scholarship will be awarded to a 2020 Mecklenburg County high school graduate who exhibits outstanding community service and will adhere to a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, age, national origin (ancestry), disabilities, marital status, sexual orientation or military status.  The scholarship, not to exceed $5,000, will provide funding toward tuition, required fees and books for the freshman year at CPCC. Assistance League of Charlotte members and their relatives are not eligible.

Online application will be available on February 1st, and will be accepting applications until March 15th.
