This is Gary Lemel, a partner at the law firm McKinney, Tucker & Lemel. I'm writing to let you know about a scholarship we are sponsoring this year on the topic of drunk driving and what we can do to lower the rates of drunk driving in our communities. We will be offering a first place scholarship of $1,000 and a second place scholarship of $500 to the top two essays or video essays responding to the following prompt:
"Have you or someone you know been affected by drunk driving? In what ways has it made or would it make you a safer driver?"
Submissions for the scholarship are due on Friday, June 5th, 2020. The winners will be announced on July 3rd, 2020.
