The Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University will host its Summer Scholars Day Open House on Friday, June 17.
This is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to
learn more about the Schreyer Honors College and Penn State through
Scholar student panels and presentations by Deans and the SHC Admissions
staff. The event also includes an information fair with various
University departments and academic colleges.
The Schreyer Honors College is a leading force in honors education
nationwide. We provide numerous opportunities for academically prepared
students to achieve excellence with a keen focus on leadership and civic
engagement. Our Scholars graduate prepared for rewarding careers at
some of the world’s leading businesses and organizations. They are also
accepted into some of the best graduate schools and programs across the
nation and around the globe.

Common App Essay Prompts

Don't wait until fall to start writing your essays. By September you will have classes, assignments, tests, papers, projects, practices and events from the first quarter of your senior year on your plate. Write your essays over the summer. Get a head start and have time to review and rewrite as necessary.
If you don't plan to apply via the Common App, research the required essays for the schools to which you plan to apply.
Taking a little time over the summer will relieve a lot of stress in the fall.

Carolina Master Scholars presents Adventure Series for rising 6th - 12th

National Liberty Museum Scholarship
The National Liberty Museum (NLM) is proud to announce our new Liberty Scholarship & Leadership Program. High School Seniors and undergraduate college students are invited to apply by demonstrating their commitment to making a positive difference in the world.
The application process includes recording a 3-5 minute video speech on the topic: "How I Intend to Make a Positive Difference in the Lives of Others."
