NACAC College Fair

Free College Fair - March 22, 2020

NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) will host a free college fair in Charlotte. The fair will be from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. and will be held at The Park Expo and Conference Center.

Admission representatives from hundreds of colleges and universities will be available to speak one on one with your student about all aspects of the college admissions process, including paying for college, admission requirements, activities on campus, and more.

FREE College Planning Workshop

Ryan Clark, Independent Educational Consultant of Clark College Counseling, will be giving a FREE College Planning Workshop at Northside on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in our Fine Arts Center. All parents of high school students are welcome and encouraged to attend this 1 hour presentation.

In this workshop, you will learn:

• That it's possible to attend a PRIVATE COLLEGE for a Public College Price!
• How to pick the right schools that will give you the best financial aid packages.
• How the U.S. Dept. of Education calculates your Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
• How to Lower Your "out-of-pocket" cost and get the max amount of financial aid.
• How to help students decide which colleges to apply to.
• What the more selective colleges really want to see in your student's application.
• How to develop and follow a detailed time-line for success.
