Below are the minimum requirements to be nominated to participate in our Ignite Excellence Scholarship Competition:
SAT 1100 (Math/Verbal)
ACT 24 (Composite)
3.70 Weighted GPA
If a student meets these requirements and applies to GWU, they will be nominated for the Ignite Excellence competition. They will then be required to complete a separate application, write an essay, and
provide two letters of recommendation. Once they return everything before the
Dec. 15th deadline, a panel will determine if they make
it to the second round which consists of a panel interview and some
group interaction. If they are selected as the winner, here are the
awards:
Winner – Full Tuition and Room/Board to GWU
2nd – 5th place winners – Full Tuition at GWU
