Assistance League® of Charlotte is
a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of
children and their families through community-based philanthropic
programs. Assistance League of Charlotte Scholarship Fund, one of five programs serving area children, has awarded over $345,250 in college scholarships since the program‘s inception in 2002.
The Assistance League® of Charlotte Scholarship will be awarded to a 2017
Mecklenburg County high school graduate who exhibits outstanding
community service. The scholarship, not to exceed $10,000, will provide
funding toward tuition, room and board, required fees and books for the
freshman year at one of the 16 campuses of The University of North
Carolina. At the discretion of the
organization, additional scholarships are awarded to students with
financial need who have exhibited a commitment to community service.

ONLY
COMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Each year we receive
applications that must be eliminated because they are incomplete in some
way. Please use the checklist on the application form to confirm with
students that the application packet is complete.
