Concord Youth Council

Concord Youth Council is sponsored by the City of Concord. Council members will serve as a liaison between the youth of Concord and the City of Concord.

This is a service-oriented organization that requires mandatory participation in programs throughout the year. Participation is based on points earned each semester. Meetings are held two Monday evenings a month at 7:00 pm during the school year.

Interested applicants are encouraged to attend a meeting before applying to give them an idea what is expected as a new member of Concord Youth Council.

The Youth Council calendar can be found on the Youth Council web page under the Resident tab on the city of Concord website, www.concordnc.gov

Students entering grades 9-11 for the 2017-2018 school year who attend a public, private or home school within the Cabarrus County School district or are a City of Concord resident may submit this form.

Deadline for applications is April 28, 2017. Interviews will be conducted before the end of the 2016-2017 school year. Membership selection will be made before June 9, 2017 by which all applicants will receive a letter of status. Membership in Youth Council is very competitive.
