Scholarship Opportunity

Assistance League® of Charlotte is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families through community-based philanthropic programs. Assistance League of Charlotte Scholarship Fund, one of five programs serving area children, has awarded over $345,250 in college scholarships since the program‘s inception in 2002.

The Assistance League® of Charlotte Scholarship will be awarded to a 2017 Mecklenburg County high school graduate who exhibits outstanding community service.  The scholarship, not to exceed $10,000, will provide funding toward tuition, room and board, required fees and books for the freshman year at one of the 16 campuses of The University of North Carolina. At the discretion of the organization, additional scholarships are awarded to students with financial need who have exhibited a commitment to community service.
